Title:   Status of muon g-2 measurement and the prospect of Muon g-2/EDM experiment at J-PARC

Abstract:

    The recent Fermilab measurement of the muon anomalous magnetic moment yields about 4.2σ deviation of aµ ≡ (g−2)µ/2 from the SM prediction. In this talk, the experiment will be briefly introduced. Also, this talk will introduce a new experiment proposed in Japan to measure the muon g-2 with different approach. The details of this new experiment will be presented and the potential of two experiments will be compared. 报告将简单回顾费米muon g-2实验的方法和最新结果，并介绍日本目前正在筹备中的新 muon g-2实验，对比讨论两个实验在方法、目标上的异同，最后对muon g-2及相关实验做简单展望。
